10G Eth, SFP+, DAC, 1–7m, 24AWG / 30AWG
The SD11-10-xxM-yyC1 series is a family of passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 10G Fiber Channel applications. Each assembly integrates SFP+ connectors at both ends and provides a single 10.3Gbps electrical lane for full duplex transmission. The passive copper design offers very low power consumption and simple plug and play operation, making it a cost effective solution for short reach interconnects.
The cable assemblies comply with the SFP+ Multi-Source Agreement and support electrical specifications defined in SFF-8431. They feature controlled impedance, low insertion loss and low crosstalk performance that meets or exceeds industry requirements. Each connector includes an EEPROM that enables module identification and communication with the host system.
The SD11-10 series is available in cable lengths from 1 meter to 5 meters and supports two wire gauge options, 30AWG for shorter lengths and 24AWG for longer lengths. The operating temperature range is 0°C to +70°C which makes these assemblies suitable for top-of-rack switching, server connectivity and high density data center installations.
